Are there any ingredients found in bandage adhesive that are also in chocolate?

We discovered that our daughter is allergic to chocolate because she broke out in hives anywhere chocolate icing touched her skin on her first birthday.





Last week, she needed a band aid for a scrape on her arm. When we removed the bandage, she had the same rash where the adhesive was stuck to her skin as the rash she got with chocolate.





Are there any similar ingredients in these two things, or does she just show the same allergy signs to both products?Are there any ingredients found in bandage adhesive that are also in chocolate?
gluten?? maybe they use gluten in the bandaids.... i know they use it in stamps.....;0)

I'm allergic to bandaids, and there are chemicals called amines that are in chocolate that could be a culprit. Hope the websites a help. May give you ideas on what to watch out for.
